SENIOR ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to lead the Engineering section of the Institute.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in supporting the infrastructure and operations of a leading institute in Health, Research and Education.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of buildings, electromechanical installations, laboratory and medical equipment, as well as other facility-related assets. The role also involves contributing to fixed asset management, procurement of electromechanical and incidental equipment, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide internal support for the maintenance and development of the Institute’s infrastructure and equipment
- Manage the planning, specification, acquisition and installation of electromechanical systems and other facilities
- Contribute to the effective management of fixed assets
- Ensure high standards of operational reliability, safety, efficiency and performance
What We’re Looking for
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of job-related experience; or
- A Bsc Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of job-related experience;
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Very good command of the Greek and English languages
- Strong computer skills
- Technical administration skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
Previous relevant work experience in the Health/Research/Academic field will be considered as an advantage.
